These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this YouGuard marketing website operated by YouCode Technologies Corporation ("YouCode", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

2. About this service

This website provides information about YouGuard, our school safety and records platform. It is informational and does not itself process student records.

The YouGuard school console used by enrolled schools is a separate, access-controlled product governed by a distinct service agreement between YouCode and each school. These Terms do not cover that console.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

  • attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
  • copy, scrape, or reuse site content beyond ordinary personal or evaluation use without permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or use the site to send unlawful or harmful content.

4. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, logos, and the YouGuard and YouCode names and marks are owned by YouCode Technologies Corporation or its licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as needed to view the site normally.

5. No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", for general information only. We make no warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information is complete or current. Pricing, features, and availability may change without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouCode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Philippine law.

7. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites, including the YouGuard console sign-in. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites; your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above when we do, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Makati City.
